Safe Harbor Certification
We self certify compliance with:
See
Safe Harbor List.
Safe harbor certification protects US companies from enforcement actions under the EU Data Protection Directive. This went into effect in October 1998 and prohibits the flow of personal information from European Union member states to any recipient outside the EU that lacks adequate privacy protections. Companies complying with the terms of the safe harbor would have a "presumption of adequacy" in this regard, significantly reducing the potential that data flows to those companies would be challenged under the Directive.
Under the safe harbor agreement there are principles that SuperiorGlacier must adhere to in order to comply with the delivery and processing of information here in the US. These principles specifically govern the personal rights of individuals and the sensitivity of the data, the transfer of information in regards to privacy, and protection from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access of information.
